Every great movement, every mighty tree, every transformed life starts somewhere small. In Matthew 13:31-33, Jesus reminds us that the kingdom of heaven works like a mustard seed and leaven -- seemingly insignificant, yet carrying unstoppable potential.
When things do not go as expected, it is easy to despise small beginnings. But Zechariah 4:10 tells us that God rejoices to see the work begin. Not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit -- that seed is going to grow.
Sometimes the work of God in our lives, our families, and our church can feel small, slow, or even insignificant—but Jesus reminds us that the Kingdom often begins in hidden and humble ways before growing into something far greater than we could imagine.
